Customer support
The queue is deep. The answers are already written.
The same handful of questions arrives all afternoon. Keep the best answer to each one as a card, reach for it with a single keystroke, and let the queue come down at a steady pace instead of a frantic one.

The middle of a shift, minute by minute, once the answers are saved. Seven questions came in, four cards answered them, and nothing was typed twice. Next to each one is the card that went out and the key that sent it.

Eight minutes, and every one of those customers got the same careful wording. That last part is the one they notice.
The version you wrote on a calm morning
Both of these answer the same question. One was rebuilt from memory at the end of a long shift. The other was written once, with no hurry at all, and has been going out ever since.
Library
A folder for every kind of ticket
Refunds, shipping delays, the sign-in walkthrough that goes out twice a day, the apology for the morning a release wobbled. Save each one as a card and group the cards into folders by topic. When something unusual arrives, search runs across every folder at once. Bold headings and links travel with the text, so a long walkthrough reaches the customer looking the way you wrote it.
hi, sorry about that! i think we can probably refund it, let me check with someone and get back to you
Saved as a card
⌘1Hi there, I am sorry this one missed the mark. Your refund is already on its way back to the payment method you used, and it usually lands within five working days. There is nothing else you need to do. If it has not arrived by the end of next week, reply here and I will chase it for you.

The queue does not wait for you to sit down
You soften the wording of the delay apology on your Mac between two tickets. An hour later you answer one more from the bus, and the card on your phone is already the new version, usually within a second of the edit. Switch to the 1SecCopy keyboard in whatever you are replying from and the answer types itself at the cursor. Nothing pasted into a notes app, and no better version left behind on the machine you happened to be sitting at.
Cross-device sync is included with Premium.
